Tribute to Our Heroes

You guys have got to check out this beautiful tribute to our soldiers in Iraq. I'm not kidding you. I don't cry and I teared up like Niagara Falls was about to burst wide open. But, seriously, this is just the best slideshow I've seen yet of this kind and make sure you've got your audio turned up high so you can hear the accompanying soundtrack which really adds to the beauty, here. Just click on this link:

Dear Jessica,

Thank you for sharing this and I hope you have a good 4th of July.

I noticed your blog when I was doing migraine research. I've been a sufferer for over ten years, but my migraines became chronic about a year ago and became an occurrence that happened between daily and 3 times a week. Imitrex, Maxalt, Fioricet, preventive medications that sent me into allergic reactions and the ER and some horrible doctors later, I was pretty close to giving up or looking into radical methods like experimental surgery. Migraines are absolutely and horribly misunderstood. I recently found two methods that helped me (one a bit and one a ton). The one that helped a little was a chiropractor, because it turned out there is a link between the (moderate) back problems I have and my migraines. But what made a huge difference was seeing a (licensed and experienced) acupuncturist. I am not someone who grew up believing in non-Western medicine or the like. Well, here I am and after two appointments, I have gone almost two weeks without a migraine, which would have been unthinkable previously. I still have some occasional pain/sensitivity, but it is nothing like before. I am no doctor, but I would be happy to email you any info/answers I have if you want to give me an email address in the comments box. Either way, I wish you the best!
